Appendix A-2 Surface Water Cleanup Levels The minimum cleanup levels for surface water shall be the narrative and numeric criteria of the Bad River Band of the Lake Superior Tribe of Chippewa Indians Water Quality Standards. These cleanup levels shall remain in effect until the Department amends them. The Department may also establish more stringent cleanup levels for a specific site, when, based on a site-specific evaluation, the Department determines that such levels are necessary to protect human health and the environment.
